Wen Cleansing Conditioner as well as their Treatment Oil and Styling Creme! x
My most used are Picfx & VSCO cam. x
I was one of those little girls who loved horses/unicorns and merry-go-rounds. It’s a reminder of my childhood and I how I hope to never lose my sense of imagination and possibility.
I got them somewhere in downtown LA. They’re cheapy ones - less than 20$!
When I vlog I use a Canon Powershot ELPH E300HS. Everything else is shot with a Canon t3i.
Start with a good point & shoot like the Powershot. Until you gain a bit more experience with everything there’s no need to invest in a higher priced camera.
Milani Eye Tech Extreme :)
To sum up my first two years, awkward. My last two, still awkward but I grew a lot. I was never popular or fit into any “cool” group. I wouldn’t say I was bullied but I was made fun of occasionally. I was a bit of a loner and jumped around from table to table (think Mean Girls) because I had friends in every “group”. Sad to think of it that way but high school can definitely feel segregated. As a person who grew up mostly overseas, I was not used to that whatsoever so when I came to the states to complete high school it was a big learning experience. I ended up transferring Junior year to a smaller private school and I was able to excel both academically and personally.
I was never a scholar. I did well enough to pass (with the exception of math and sciences which I usually aced) but I have only been on honor roll a hand full of times haha.
So what did I learn? High School is an experience and I think by the time you graduate you’re only beginning to discover who you are as a person. It’s different for everyone but if you make it through, you’ve got so many opportunities ahead of you and so many paths to chose from. For me, High School is a distant memory and I don’t stay in touch with anyone or honestly really care about a majority of the people I knew back then. I’ve gone on to bigger better things and chose not to live in the past.
I can’t remember how long it took to fully heal but I used Bactine on a qtip to clean the area. As for my hoop, I think I got it at a piercing shop or kiosk at the mall. I asked for a small gauged continuous hoop (one that doesn’t have a ball or anything) but if you can’t find one you may be able to get a hoop that has the ball but not use the ball. It’s just sometimes harder to squeeze the hoop closed.
Nope!
I’m curious to know why people want to know my age so badly? Even a friend of mine said someone visited their site because they searched google for “how old is claire marshall makeup artist?” haha!
I don’t know how much it will hurt for you, but there are worse places to get tattooed.
I’m pretty sure I got mine at one of those small kiosk in the mall. I didn’t go anywhere special.
Never stop learning, do it whenever you can.
I shop many places but recently a lot of my clothes have come from UO, NastyGal, Brandy Melville, Forever21 and the occasional thrift/vintage find. x
I basically decided to become a freelance makeup artist after I got sick of working full time doing something I hated. I took a chance on an uncertain future - it’s not an easy path but if you love it and have the means to do it, go for it! You have to be willing to work hard and try to make it happen! x
I will do a tutorial on this soon, it’s hard to explain everything I want to explain just by typing it out haha. One of the main things I would suggest is to occasionally take a step back and look at yourself straight forward in a mirror. You want to relax your eyes so you see how the line is ‘sitting’ accurately. That way you can determine where you need to add/take away and you’re more likely to achieve symmetry.
